After months of rumors, speculation and hints from COBRA golf, today is the day that the Cobra RADSPEED drivers are finally released, creating the RADSPEED, RADSPEED XB (Xtreme Back), and RADSPEED XD (Xtreme Draw lineup).
In what they are calling their “most advanced product line to date” Cobra are bringing innovative new technology to the new RADSPEED drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and irons for 2021. In particular, their new radial weighting system is being seen as a way of getting the maximum level of performance across a full range of golfing abilities.

COBRA RADSPEED Driver
The new RADSPEED driver is a 460cc traditional head with a forward-biased Radial Weighting to appeal to the better player seeking low spin, low launch and workability. A 28g weight positioned in the front helps to to create the perfect balance of front and back weighting for speed and stability. COBRA’s R&D team have looked to push the weight as far forward and as far back as possible creating a driver capable of providing the fastest ball speed with extreme forgiveness, something that has not been possible until now. Using a lighter T-Bar Speed Chassis and a thinner Carbon Fiber Wrap Crown, COBRA were able to save 13g in total weight which could be reposition forward to lower the CG and provide more speed.
Two adjustable weights in the front and back (12g & 2g) allow players to fine-tune their desired launch and spin performance. A final but very notable feature of the new RADSPEED driver is the CNC Milled Infinity Face, which requires about 25 minutes of milling for every single clubface produced.

COBRA RADSPEED XB Driver
The COBRA RADSPEED XB driver is aimed at Golfers who want plenty of speed and distance but value forgiveness, and a club that flies effortlessly straight. One of the two “Xtreme,” versions in the RADSPEED driver line, the XB (Xtreme Back) features an oversized address profile that inspires confidence on the tee.
Packaged in a 460cc head the driver utilizes a rear-biased Radial Weighting system to deliver the fastest and straightest ball flight of the three models. It has 20g weight positioned in the back of the head, and 8g of fixed weight in the front, making the XB arguably COBRA’s fastest and most forgiving driver to date. For golfers who enjoyed the COBRA’s 2020 SPEEDZONE Xtreme driver, the RADSPEED XB delivers even more ball speed and lower spin making it the obvious evolutionary choice. Additional technologies featured in the XB driver and the rest of the RADSPEED drivers include, a titanium T-Bar Speed Chassis and Thin-Ply Carbon Fibre Crown, CNC Milled Infinity Face and Radial Weighting Technology.

“Our new RADSPEED drivers represent a true breakthrough in performance,”
Tom Olsavsky
Vice President of R&D, COBRA Golf.
