One of the most asked questions we receive on social media at GolfGETUP is ‘what golf shoes does Dustin Johnson wear?’ and within this article we’ll take a closer look at what DJ has opted for throughout 2020.

Starting in early January 2020 Dustin was at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Kapalua, Hawaii, an event he won back in 2018 but where he finished tied seventh this year. For that first round of the year he was sporting the Adidas CodeChoas shoe which is a spikeless offering from Adidas which provides support and stability without any added weight.

It was whilst at the World Golf Championships-Mexico Championship in February that Dustin was first seen wearing a spiked option in 2020. DJ chose to use a firm favorite of his and one of Adidas’s best selling golf shoe in the TOUR360 XT – a shoe he was seen regularly in throughout both 2018 and 2019.

Dustin has chosen the Adidas Tour360 XT these last few years as its without doubt one of the most complete golf shoes available. Not only do they look great but they provide incredible levels of traction and stability no matter what the weather. A flexible midsole provides exceptional levels of cushioning making 18 holes seem effortless.

Not long after the WGC, COVID-19 struck causing an early end to the Players Championship and a shutdown until the Charles Schwab Challenge almost 3 months later. He continued with the Tour360 XT for the Charles Schwab, and RBC Heritage but was then seen in June at the Travelers Championship, an event he won, opting for the Adidas Tour360 XT Primeknit. He continued with the Tour360 XT Primeknit at the Memorial Tournament in July.

The Tour360 XT Primeknit is a spiked golf shoe designed to quickly shed wet weather to consistently deliver a responsive feel with continual comfort. It features the X-Traxion primary lug system for supreme levels of grip and balance.

Since July however Dustin has been spotted back wearing his old faithful in the Tour360XT having been seen in notable performances at the Northern Trust, which he won, and the BMW Championship which ultimately went to a playoff with fellow TaylorMade-Adidas ambassador John Rahm.
