After the hugely successful Premiere shoe lineup in 2021, the new FootJoy Traditions hit the shelves to the delight of FootJoy fans around the world. Not only do the Traditions hit the mark in terms of being a conventional golf shoe style, but they also cross over towards more of a formal trainer which have become widely used across the game. In this article we take a closer look at the styles, colorways and key elements that the FootJoy Traditions have to offer.
Stunning traditional details
The first thing to note about the FootJoy Traditions are the exquisite details that feature throughout the shoe. They scream high quality and like with any FootJoy shoe you know they’ll last the distance. Despite them looking less ‘rigid’ than the typical spiked golf shoes FootJoy have been able to they offer supreme levels of comfort, round after round, without sacrificing consistently high amounts of traction.
Fast Twist 3.0 cleat system
The shoe gets it traction from the Pulsar LP cleat system by Softspikes. These cleats make use of the Fast Twist 3.0 cleat technology for easy replacement if needed. A lower profile cleat also offers improved comfort whilst remaining incredibly secure. There’s certainly no feeling of the cleat pushing back up through the sole which can be incredibly tiring after 18 holes.
A truly lightweight design
The shoe itself is incredibly lightweight and includes a foam midsole and a molded high density EVA Fit-Bed that ensures the shoe feels like walking on a cloud, round after round.
Full grain leather throughout creates a stunning end result with the Traditions, and fine details including bold lace styles and reverse color way eyelets make for an incredibly stylish shoe.
